"All Pigs Must Die" by Death in June is a call to arms against the oppressive systems of authority. The lyrics reference both the late 1960s, when there was a large anti-government movement, and the late 1990s, when there was unrest among people who felt disenfranchised by the establishment. The "pigs" in this song are a metaphor for repressive systems, whether governmental or cultural. The song encourages standing up against these systems and protesting against the powers that be. The message of the song is that people should take control of their own lives and resist oppressive forces that are preventing them from achieving their goals.
